Reverie Farm Appaloosas
I first got into Appaloosas after
purchasing a yearling leopard colt at a local auction here in Maryland. I had
always raised and bred Quarter Horses in my native state of Florida, including
AQHA Champion Shipp's Bar and Kings Gracie, ROM champions Elvi's Bar Maid, and
Tontigo Dodger as well as many others.
It was the unusual coloring that first attracted me but I soon came to realize
that this was a breed with character, as I have seen countless times over the
years.
The background and history of these animals is truly amazing! They have returned
from almost extinction to the powerful breed of today.
Here at Reverie we have the bloodlines of some of the greatest Appaloosa
sires--Mighty Bright, Spitten Image, Joker, B, and of course Dream Finder. Our
broodmares have either been raised by us, or hand-picked to improve upon the
breed.
We have young horses for sale most of the time, as they tend to go quickly.
