Come and join us for a fun filled "Horse Sense" week of summer camp!
Not only do we ride 3-4 hours a day, our qualified instructors cover all aspects of horse care. We have seminars and fun "how to" sessions. Most of our campers return year after year to increase their knowledge.


2006 Dates: Camps are Monday through Friday.

July 10 - July 14 Advanced Beginners

 
July 5 - July 7 Pee Wee: For very young or timid riders; 3 half days with each child assigned to an individual assistant                     $250.00  

July 17 - July 21  Intermediate

 

July 24 - July 28 Advanced

 


Standard schedule for the day:

  8:00-9:00        Horse Care
 9:00-11:00 Riding...Western, English, or Bareback
11:00-12:00 Lectures, Demonstrations, and Seminars
12:00-1:00 Lunch
 1:00-3:00 Riding...Western, English, or Bareback
 3:00-4:00  Horse Care

The cost is $325.00 per week with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit required at sign up, and the balance due May 1. These camps fill up quickly and we take a limited amount in each so do not wait! Each child is required to have a proper fitting, approved riding helmet. These may be purchased from us or rented for $5.00 per day.
Weather permitting, the last day of camp we have a mini horse show where students can show off some of what they have learned. Ribbons are presented and parents and relatives are invited.


                              

Bring Every Day:                    

Packed Lunch*/Drinks...money to purchase soft drinks/bottled water/snowballs
Approved Riding Helmet
Proper attire (long pants and shoes/boots suitable for riding)
Change of clothing, shorts, extra socks
Bathing suit and towel
3 Ring binder notebook
Pencils/pens/Crayons
Sunscreen/Bug Repellant
*It is advisable to bring lunches in a hard cooler that the animals cannot get into!

Campers may arrive as early as 7:00 AM and be picked up as late as 5:30 PM.
